Ten years ago, Home Town arrived on HGTV with a deceptively simple premise: follow Ben and Erin Napier (pictured) as they restore old houses in Laurel, Mississippi, and in the process, help breathe new life into a small American town. A decade later, the series has become something much bigger — a long-running unscripted success story, a tourism driver, a spinoff engine and a clear example of what can happen when a production finds the right place to put down roots.
