Day 1
- 10:00 am - Arrive at Lauren Rogers Museum of Art for a brief history of Laurel and the Museum
- 10:15 am - Docent-led tour of Museum exhibits
- 11:30 am - Walk across the street to the Rogers-Green house for catered lunch
- 1:00 pm - Step-on guide provides driving tour of historic district & downtown Laurel
- 2:00 pm - Bus unloads at the Laurel Mercantile on Front Street in downtown Laurel
- 2:00 pm - Shopping & sightseeing on own in downtown
- 4:00 pm - Meet at bus for visit to Scotsman General Store & Ben’s Woodshop
- 4:30 pm – Happy Hour at bar or restaurant downtown
- 5:30 pm – Check in to hotel or short term rentals
- 7:00 pm – Group dinner; options for large groups include Charlie’s Catfish, Café La Fleur, Edgar’s Steakhouse
Day 2
- Breakfast on own
- 9:00 am - Tour of Landrum’s Country
- 11:30 am – Lunch on own in Downtown Laurel
- 1:00 pm – Meet bus to visit Hellfighters Motorcycle Shop
- 2:00 pm – Ice cream or afternoon snack at Phillips Drive-In
- 2:30 pm – Load bus to visit either the Laurel Jones County Black History Museum or the Veterans Memorial Museum. Docent-led tours available for both.
- 4:00 pm – Return to lodging
- 6:30 pm – Group dinner in downtown Laurel followed by live entertainment at 330 Fifth Street, Buzzard’s Roost, Texas Pit Master BBQ; or load bus for Bok Homa Casino in Sandersville
Day 3
- Breakfast on own and accommodation check out
- 9:00 am – Visit Amos Deason Home in Ellisville
- 10:00 am – Shop and sightsee in downtown Ellisville
- 11:30 am – Lunch on own in Ellisville
- 1:00 pm – Meet bus to depart to next destination
